Muhammad Irshad Motara was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand. After completion of his education he went on to pursue the higher Islamic Sciences in South Africa and attained a Masters-equivalent degree in Islamic Theology (The Aalim course). He studied Madrasah Arabia Islamia (Dar-ul-Uloom, Azaadville) under many great luminaries notably: Shaikul Hadeeth Maulana Fadlur Rahmaan A’zami and Mufty Muhammad Saeed Motara, and thus received authorizations(ijazahs) in various books including the six major collections of Hadith. Thereafter, he entered a legal verdicts and jurisprudential course (Mufty course - Ifta) where he graduated here as well under the tutelage of Mufty Muhammad Saeed Motara for the duration of two years.

Muhammad Rayhaan Diwan was born in Fiji and raised in Auckland, New Zealand. After completion of his education he went on to pursue the higher Islamic Sciences in South Africa and attained a Masters-equivalent degree in Islamic Theology (The Aalim course). He initially studied the Arabic language and various other traditional Islamic sciences including Qur’anic (Tafsir). Hadith, Aqaaid, Fiqh e.t.c at Madrasah Arabia Islamia (Dar-ul-Uloom, Azaadville) under many great luminaries notably: Shaikul Hadeeth Maulana Fadlur Rahmaan A’zami and Mufty Muhammad Saeed Motara, and thus received authorizations(ijazahs) in various books including the six major collections of Hadith.

Muhammad Ashfaaq Motara was born in Fiji and raised in Auckland, New Zealand. After completion of his education he went on to pursue higher education where he graduated as a Architectural Technician. He has studied under various teachers in the field of Islamic sciences.

In New Zealand we have Maulana Bashir Ahmed Diwan (DB) who ‘s in his 80′s. He started his studies at Madressa Jamiah Islamiah Talimuddin Dabhel and for his final year, he went for Daura Hadith at Darul-Uloom Deoband in the 1940′s and has Ijazah in Hadith from Shaykhul-Ul-Islam Hadhrat Maulana Sayyed Husain Ahmed Madani Rahmatullahi Alaihi. He was a sathi of the great Muballigh and golden voice of Tabligh, Hadhrat Maulana Muhammad Umar Palanpuri Rahmatullahi Alaihi. He was in Fiji and served the muslim community there from the 1940′s to 2000, around 55 years and has been in New Zealand for the last 12 years and Masha-Allah, is still serving the muslim community. He was Pesh Imam of Jame Masjid Suva, Fiji since it opened in 1965 till 2000 (35 years) when he came to New Zealand. He has students that are now in Fiji, Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada.

Rashid A Diwan was born in Fiji. After completion of his education he went on to pursue higher education where he graduated as a Accountant. He has studied under various teachers in the field of Islamic sciences. He has also written the book wider accepted in the community "Muslim worship in Islam"

M. Ilyas Motara was born in India. After completion of his education he went on to pursue higher education where he graduated as a Teacher.
