MU Introduction
TOWARDS RUNNING A SUCCESSFUL ISLAMIC INSTITUTION
INTRODUCTION
Auckland Islamic Trust is an organisation that aims at benefiting the Muslim community by educating our future generations and our community in different aspects of Islam so that we may all acquire success in this world and the hereafter. We aim to benefit the Muslim community according to the Qur’aan and Sunnah of Nabi Muhammad (Salaahu alai wa salam), in a method which is simple and effective as shown to us by our pious predecessors.
Auckland Islamic Trust aims to provide a caring learning environment for the community as well as provide basic, elementary and advanced Islamic education irrespective of their race, colour, ethnicity, or geographical background. Our intention is to create and maintain an atmosphere throughout the entire Muslim community that promotes teaching, learning and achievement of the highest quality thereby enabling every individual the opportunity to acquire and develop the knowledge, skills and understanding that will prepare and facilitate them throughout their life.
Our Principle objectives are:
• To provide a safe, nurturing environment for our pupils.
• To enrich Islamic values and beliefs in the hearts of our pupils, in light of the Qur’aan and Sunnah.
• To promote a centre of excellence from within an Islamic environment enriched with values of discipline and respect.
• To present a curriculum that is intellectually stimulating and appropriate.
• To provide instruction that encourages development of Islamic morals, values and practice upon them.
• To ensure all pupils are treated fairly and equally.
• Recognise the need to respond to children’s individual needs.
• Constantly strive to raise standards of learning and achievement.
• To adopt a professional approach with Madrasah related issues.
• To foster values of good citizenship within our environment.
At Madrasah Uthmaaneyah, our aim is to enrol students from the age of 4 1/2, to learn to read the Qur’aan, learn Islamic Deeniyaat. Our courses are structured according to the age-old proven traditional experiences and values with emphasis on Tajweed (correct pronunciation).
When a child is enrolled into any Madrasah, each teacher does their utmost to make the Tarbiyat (correct upbringing) of that child according to Islamic teachings along with teaching them Qur’aan. We encourage parents that their child should complete the syllabus set out at one Madrasah.
We humbly request the cooperation of each parent and child/ren to succeed in this path. Together with this, please remember us in your duaa’s.
